ABOUT OUR SPECIAL EDITION MODELS From time-to-time Stuart Spector acquires rare tone-woods in limited amounts. These woods are sometimes never available again, such as in the case with our Exotic Top Water-Cured Redwood models. Because these woods are unique; we feel that the few guitars that are made from them are special. On a limited-basis as such woods come available; SPECTOR® will use them to build our SPECIAL EDITION "SE" LIMITED-RUN MODELS™. These models will be specially signed and numbered by Stuart Spector, each run starting with serial "Number 1". Special Edition Series Number 1 is a NS-2J™ finished in a rare Walnut Burl Top. FEATURES OF THE USA SERIES™ SPECIAL EDITION MODELS™ These basses will feature unique or rare wood tops and/or body construction.  These will be available in very limited runs and quantities made will be determined by the rarity of the wood. They will have special "SE" signatures, each with a special "SE" model number and each run starting at serial number 1.
