"KING TUT"
In August of 1978 comedian Steve Martin had a hit song on the airwaves thanks to an over-the-top performance on the hit TV show Saturday Night Live.

Besides being one of the greatest comedic minds in the past 30 years, Steve is an accomplished and talented musician.

We have no idea how he came to pose for the dust jacket of the single 45rpm record for "King Tut" with one of only 50 of the G-1 electric guitar models that SPECTOR® produced between 1975 and 1979, but we are tickled by his choice.

The Back Side of NS-1™ (Serial Number #1103177)

This NS-1™ was modified into a NS-2™.  The SPECTOR® Pickup was removed and replaced
with a "P", leaving a gap in the body from the original routing.  "J" pickup added to bridge.
Many owners did this sort of NS-1™ to NS-2™ modification, but this is still an NS-1™ Model.
